Heart and Vascular Imaging in Your Office

IMPROVE YOUR QUALITY OF CARE

A Task Force commissioned by the American College of Cardiology Foundation and the American Heart Association in 2010 issued new guidelines for assessment of cardiovascular risk in asymptomatic results.

STAY AT THE FOREFRONT OF YOUR PRACTICE

Redefining Framingham. Framingham risk scores have been widely used to assess cardiovascular risk for decades. Yes in 2009 a study showed more than 75 percent of patients.

INFUSE YOUR PRACTICE WITH NEW REVENUE

We understand that there are numerous costs associated with running a health care practice. Therefore we have built our company to make sure that giving your patients the best care also benefits your bank account. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

KEEP YOUR PRACTICE ON THE CUTTING EDGE

Redefining Framingham.

Framingham risk scores have been widely used to assess cardiovascular risk for decades. Yes in 2009 a study showed more than 75 percent of patients hospitalized for heart attacks had cholesterol levels that would indicate they were not high risk for a cardiovascular event.

What are we missing?

  • In 2010, the ARIC study demonstrated that C-IMT radically re-defines

  • Framingham Risk in eye-opening ways.

  • The results were dramatic:

  • 23% of patients were reclassified when C-IMT and

  • plaque information were added to Framingham Risk.

Carotid IMT
CAROTID-IMT ULTRASOUND:

Preventing Heart Attacks in Your Office.

C-IMT is a painless 15-minute ultrasound of the carotid arteries. Computer-guided scoring determines the average intima-media thickness of the artery wall. C-IMT measurement represents an independent marker of an individual’s cardiovascular risk, according to the American Heart Association. Additionally, this test will detect the presence and severity of plaques in the carotid arteries and assess the vulnerability of these plaques to rupture, causing a heart attack or stroke.

C-IMT outperformed them all. Your patients deserve the best!

echocardiogram.png
ECHOCARDIOGRAM:

A complete ultrasound examination of the heart that takes approximately 30 minutes. This non-invasive technique affords unique insight into cardiac structure and function. High-frequency sound waves are used to visualize the contours, movements, and dimensions of cardiac structures, as well as flow patterns within the heart.

ARTERIAL LE WITH ABI

A noninvasive test to determine the presence of peripheral artery disease takes approximately 30 minutes. Blood pressures of the extremities are taken, and then Doppler ultrasound is used to find restricted blood flow or blockages in the dorsalis pedis, the posterior tibia, and the brachial arteries.

ABDOMINAL AORTIC ANEURYSM SCREENING

A noninvasive test to determine the presence of peripheral artery disease takes approximately 30 minutes. Blood pressures of the extremities are taken, and then Doppler ultrasound is used to find restricted blood flow or blockages in the dorsalis pedis, the posterior tibia, and the brachial arteries.

Thyroid Ultrasound Examination
THYROID ULTRASOUND EXAMINATION

Ultrasound examination of the thyroid to evaluate the presence of abnormalities to help detect possible neoplasm, thyroiditis, or tumor.
